I applied for US Student Visa. My name is correct in the application but I have my firstname spelling incorrect in the appointment. Please suggest what process I need to follow to correct the name. Please advice. Thank a lot.

if your name is correct in the application, how can it be incorrect in the appointment? Are you saying your name is correct in I-20 but not in appointment? Best would be to call US Embassy and ask how to correct the mistake
