Hi I want to send 1000 to nepal. I looked at munchamoney but they were asking me my SSN, Driving license scanned copy etc. I am not sure I want to provide all that information..Is it safe?

Munchamoney says there is no fee for transfer but will my recepient get charged commision when they receive the money in nepal?

What are some other options? I am skeptical providing my SSN driving licence info online

They charge 30-40 dollers for the transfer. Is there something you guys use to transfer to nepal which is cheaper?

Money Gram about $ 13 for $ 1000, $ 11 for $ 500 and its in minutes, plus their NPR rates are better than banks  and Western Union.

I just created muncha account. They asked for SSN and my driving license which I provided. Even Prabhuonline seem to require it. Have any of you guys did money transfer through them? Is it safe to provide ssn and DL scan copy to them?

Go nearby wal mart, Money Gram best option! I prefer Money GRAM. I guess you can do online too but on site better.

Try thamelremit.com. Very reliable...for $5 fee. They don't deliver cash though..they deposit it into your beneficiary's bank account in Nepal. I use them all them time!
