NPPA’s 15th Annual Meeting/1127 Nepal Sambat (MHAPUJA) YA BHINTUNA


With a Theme of “Health & Heritage ”

Dear Friends:

The executive committee of Nepa Pasa Pucha Amerikaye (NPPA) is pleased to invite you, your family, and friends to attend NPPA’s 15th Annual Meeting coinciding with the New Year 1127 Nepal Sambat being celebrated as MHA PUJA (Worship of Innerself) - also known as “BHINTUNA” (Good Wishes).

This unique cultural event of the Newah people of Nepal will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Wheaton High School in Silver Spring, MD. Details regarding the preliminary program, venue, directions, nearby hotel information and contacts are given below.

We encourage you to electronically register via NPPA’s web site which can be accessed at the following link: www.nppa-us.org . This allows us to garner an accurate headcount for the program featuring the Traditional Newah Samay BAJEE (Lunch), Sitting BHOYE (Dinner), and Cultural Program.

Adults (>16 Years)

$18 per person in advance (e-registration)

$20 per person at the gate

Children (8-16)

$15 per person in advance (e-registration)

$17 per person at the gate

FREE for children up to 7 years olds
