charity event to help raise money and awareness in the fight against sex
trafficking. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to
Maiti Nepal.
Maiti Nepal is a non-profit that runs shelters,
hospices, schools, border surveillances, transit and prevention homes.
It is the only resource of its kind that rescues and provides shelter,
assistance and sup

for the women and children of Nepal. The average age of the girls being
trafficked is 9-13 and Maiti Nepal stops an average of 4 to 5 a day
from waking up in to an interminable life of rape and torture.
The
doors will open at 5:45 and the tasting will be until 7:30. We will
then be screening the Emmy nominated movie "The Day My God Died", a 50
minute documentary produced and narrated by Tim Robbins and Winona
Ryder. Following the screening, we will hold our auction/raffle and
coffee and desserts donated by Cakes by Erin will also be provided.
Auction items will include hotel/dinner packages, endless gift
certificates to spas & restaurants, Red Sox tickets, fine wines,
artwork, and, of course, Kiki Larouge photography portrait sessions!
