Swami Atmananda Jee belongs to the Shankaracharya tradition. After completing education Swami Jee joined Shankaracharya tradition and took Sanyas. After receiving Diksha from Dakshinamurthi Math he has devoted his life disseminating information on Vedanta Darshan in many countries including Nepal, India, Mayanmar, USA and UK.
The archive of Prempuri Ashram in Bombay, India has more than 500 hours of his discourses on various topics of Vedanta, which could be downloaded by visiting - WWW.prempuri.org
Recently honored and promoted as ‘Mahamandaleswar’ at the Kumbha Mela, Haridwar, India. This is the second highest position in the Shankaracharya tradition after the ‘Shankaracharya.’ There are 4 Shankaracharyas and about 70 Mahamandaleswars in India.
