Lets hike Blue Hills reservation and see the museum. This is the first hiking trip by GBNC activities club for this summer. Details for this trip are as follows,

At what time do we meet ?: 12:01PM

Can I meet someone at one place and form a team ?: Sure, lets meet at Harvard Square(Recommended) Please call or email if you want to meet.

How long is Hiking? About 3 hours

Is it very difficult? It is very easy compared to other mountains

Where are we Hiking ?: Blue Hills ( Trial museum to Elliot Tower+weather station)

Where can I find this mountain in internet ?: http://www.mass.gov/mdc/BLUE.HTM\

Can I look at the Map?: Sure, here is it. http://www.mass.gov/mdc/maps/BLUE.GIF

How do I get there ?: Piece of cake, Take route 93 south, exit 2. That will do it. There is direction on the reservation web page.

Can I bring children?: Off course, Blue Hills is best for children.

Do I have to pay money for museum and trail map ?: Yes, it is better to carry some extra cash too.

Things recommended to bring,

Hiking Boots - nothing fancy, but something with some ankle support.
Rain Gear - Think you don't need it? Remember, this is New England.
Fleece/Wool Sweater.
Wool/Capilene/Coolmax Socks - no cotton.
Nylon Pants/Shorts.
Coolmax/Capilene/Polypro Shirt/Underwear.
Hat, Gloves - for cold weather.
Sunglasses.
Hat for sun protection.
Sunscreeen.
Bug Spray.
Lunch - nothing perishable, and no glass bottles.
Snacks - granola bars, chocolate, oranges/apples, etc.
Small Flashlight.
Small First Aide Kit.
WATER

All hikers are responsible for their own safety.
