That aint happening. He just won 400m relay silver medal. If you meant gold when you said empty handed, you may be right.

He still have 6 more events left i guess , he did better in today's relay but the last guy could not keep his pace as other 3 did ,I think Phelps will get at least 1 gold ,but his records will be there for long time for sure.He's best still.

He won 4 x200 free style medley gold medal which happened to be his 19th Olympic medal. Thats a record.

He'll probably win couple more Golds before retiring. He is already the most medaled Olympian in history.

Meanwhile MaGorkhe changed it from any medals to Gold and will now change it from Gold only to gold in individual event. Not sure what happens if Phelps win a gold in individual event.
In 4X400 relay, he was pretty good, it was Lochte that cost the team IMO.
