How did the Balen Factor help RSP to thrash them all?

Nobody really expected the outcome we have witnessed so far as the results come pouring in and it is Ghanti, Ghanti all the way. Most of us expected RSP to be the biggest party but with a little less than a majority but most of us did forget the 'Balen' wave that would cause a massive tsunami for our old corrupt political parties.

It seems that this election was Balen vs the rest of the loafers! If you look at the Madhes province, it is shocking. The so-called Madhesi political parties have been nuked to hell. Corrupt buffoons like Upendra Yadav, Sarat Singh Bhandari, Rajendra Mahato and other Madeshi-card playing politicians have been squashed like bugs. These leaders have been looting like crazy while young kids from the province have been forced to move to the Gulf region for better economic opportunities.

And it's not only Madhes. A clean sweep in Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and the whole of Jhapa and Chitwan and Kaski and many more. And the majority of the women candidates from RSP received record votes and won handsomely.

Our Karnali province is the most remote, underdeveloped region but somehow the voters there voted for the old guards. Maybe it was because of extreme loyalties or they just had no choice but to listen to the harta-kartas there who promised them the moon while they still haven't even delivered a bora of lasoon in the past 35 years. Hope RSP will pour more budget into the Karnali region, unlike Oli building view towers.

Who would have thought our old, corrupt parties would be beaten to a pulp in this election? And the credit goes to everyone, not only the Gen Zs or the young voters but their parents and also lots of folks from the old political parties who just either slept at home or decided to go ghanti this time. We have to thank everyone, don't we? And foremost, let us thank the old political parties for their extreme corruption and ego. Power does not last forever.

Someone told me... this is our 'Obama' moment... Well if Balen is Obama then Nepal is in good hands. I don't call Balen a Madhesi or Pahadi... it's about time we stopped calling ourselves something else but just plain old or young good Nepali. He was Kathmandu's son and today he has become Nepal's son! This line sounds much better in Nepali!

This is a big win for all of us. He represents all our young ones, our sons and daughters. And shouldn't we be proud that, for a change, we, the voters, have given the young ones the right to govern us for the next five years? Oli and Deuba were young once; they became Home Ministers in their early 40s. So why is it a problem that people in their 30s and 40s will be leading a new government now?

This is the 'New Nepal', the real Nepal, where inclusiveness matters and hope will no longer be stuck with divisive politics. I think the old ones will try to create some tamasa now and then, but let's hope we will have a strong, honest, and ethical government to put those differences aside.

The so-called Karki report calls for punishment against Oli, Lekhak, and those who ordered the shooting, did the shooting, and did not stop the shooting during the Gen Z protest. Those are the exact words of the committee's chairperson! Expect tons of bandas and masal joo-loos from the Congress-UML cadres if the committee's recommendations are enforced but if we don't act now then all the sins since 1991 will be washed away in the Bagmati river!

RSP has achieved what no other political party has in the past two decades. The majority of the voters, more than 50%, have voted for Ghanti. If we only had the FPTP thing, then they would have had a two-thirds majority. And the Congress UML Maoist cartel can stop blaming foreign hands or the devil because they were the evil ones themselves.

Now, we have folks worrying that we will not have a strong opposition or Balen will be like Hitler or this and that. Where were these folks in the past 35 years? When have we had any really formidable opposition in the House? It has always been a mili-juli cartel where every top government position is filled mostly through bhaag-banda and extortion. Look at our judges, look at our heads of many government agencies, look at our ambassadors or so-called lucrative or corruption-friendly departments.

Today, we have a 35-year-old, who will become our PM soon. I think this guy was born with the perfect Kundali. He has been in the right place at the right time. He won the Kathmandu Mayor's Cup not because he was the most experienced one. He just happened to show up at the right time. And Kathmanduites said, well hell with the two heavyweights, the #MeToo Keshav or the Nepo Buhari. We will go with a young man, an independent maverick, because we just want someone who is not going to be corrupt or even less corrupt, maybe.

Sometimes or most of the time, you really have to be at the right place at the right time. Hard work matters but sometimes God has his plans for you. One astrologer did tell me that either you will be like a King or a Sadhu. So far, it has been the latter, but that's okay. You have to take responsibility for your sins.

Without Balen, RSP would still have managed to win a lot more than the previous edition but not this level of total smackdown of the old geezers. It could have doubled its seats this time but Balen's entry just broke the political landscape to pieces. The majority of the new RSP winners have to thank Balen for their victory but at the same time, people wanted this change and all winners in this election are now part of a new beginning. Hope they will all unite and not be like the old ones who when they came to power, lost their morals, had their factions and breakups and forgot about the voters,

Politics is not black or white. It is grey. And we have seen dozens of opportunists join RSP even though they belonged to other parties or had vested interests. But let us hope that RSP will not follow the 'Maoist' model of how to ruin it when you have it all on a silver platter. Don't let the petty ones disrupt the party. Don't let the middlemen and tax evading and land grabbing byaparis come in with boras full of cash and destroy your soul. And do not mingle with foreign intelligence agencies or they will blackmail you to death!

But I think Balen and the core folks in RSP are a different lot. They are young, smart, and not in the game to enrich themselves because they are not like the sadakchaaps and pickpockets from the earlier generations who were given the same mandate by voters then but did just the opposite while we wept silently until September 8th, 2025! This is our 9-11 but it was our own government not foreign terrorists who decided to kill young kids while they could have easily managed to disperse the crowd with various non-lethal means.

The old political parties called him Lucifer. They called him a foreign-backed agent. And the funny thing is that our old political parties have had foreign friends backing them for decades. The Indian and Chinese Embassies have been handing out their mithais and hongbaos to those in power for decades.

Balen is a different breed. He represents the young guns. Even Gen X ones are too old to understand this guy, let alone Oli and Deuba types. He doesn't speak much, especially not to the Media. Our old school media wallahs are worried. Well, if he can talk the talk and walk the walk, then why the hell do we need a guffadi killer like Oli or a crazy slimy snake like Prachanda or Deuba to lead us to ruin?

It seems that we have forgotten 35 years of misrule, 20+ years of bhag-bhanda cartel loot and the trigger-happy governments who have been happy to kill their own people just because they were protesting for their rights or for what they believe in.

Everyone in this country has the right to stand up and speak up and demand accountability from those in power but do they have the right to shoot and kill common citizens or should they need to restrain themselves and use other non-lethal means to control any protests from going out of hand? Hope the new government will focus on that and hopefully, we will also have our first woman IGP before 2031!

We will now have a PM, who will not be threatened by foreign ambassadors, be it the Chinese or the Indian or the American or the EU ones. We will have a PM who will do what is right not what pleases the chimekis on this side of the border or the other. I think his first foreign visit should not be to India or China but Singapore. CP Khetan has a very good connection with the PAP people there. Balen should call him up and ask him to make it a State visit.

For far too long, we have been bullied by India. We have been played by the Chinese and the CIA and the rest has outsourced all the dealings to the South Block in Delhi. The Indian media is making the same noise about how Balen is anti-India. I think they should understand that we are not anti-Indians. We are anti-bullying, anti-blockade, anti-disrespect and anti-interference in our internal matters.

We are a sovereign nation, and it's time we stopped being pushed around for somebody's petty interests. We need all the help we can to rise and make our country great. Yes, we need our neighbors' help, but not charity or exploitation. We need to be partners, not puppets. Dear India and China, we are not your buffer zone. Do not make our place your playground to play ping pong or Kabbadi. If we are brothers, then treat us like one!
