Dear friends,

The Nepalese Americas Council (NAC) and North American Coordination Council (NACC) appeal all Nepali American and Canadian organizations, members of North American Nepali Diaspora and friends of Nepal to contribute funds to support relief efforts for the people affected by the recent flooding southern Nepal.  Last year too we did our part to support the relief work.  Nature has struck again and thousand have been affected, who need help.

As in the past, our contributions can make a difference in the lives of those who have suffered from this natural calamity.  You have readily responded to such calls in the past and we hope you will do it again.

Your contributions are tax deductible. Please make checks payable to Nepalese Americas Council (please write “Nepal Flood Victims” on the memo section of the check) and urgently mail your contributions to the following address:

Ms. Bishnu Thapa, Treasurer

The Nepalese Americas Council

4 Travis Ct.

Gaithersburg, MD 20879

This is a collaborative effort on behalf of the Nepali community and friends of Nepal.  The collected amount will be handed over to a reliable and reputable relief agency in Nepal.

On behalf of NAC, its member organizations and NACC we thank you in advance for your generous support.

Sincerely,

Dr. Ambika Adhikari

President NAC

Suman Timsina

Co-chair NACC

Ratan Jha

Co-char, NACC
