does anyone have idea, what things need to be declared at Kathmandu airport? electronic items? watches ?what would declaration do? pay taxes?

I did not declare anything last year when I went for Dasain.
I had laptop,camcorder,cell phone,digital camera,6 watches and loads of shopping from BKK (basically clothes and shoes).
Just don't lose ur luggage and have lots of PATIENCE.

gold if you bring a lot............

nothing. go straight with confidence, no one will dare to say anything to you even you show off your camcorder or even gold.

you can take as much as possible cause there's no way the DOG (immigration officer) can check how much you bring. but to be safe carry some nepali rupees. that way you can give to those dog some rupees if they make your life miserable.
afterall all these dogs want is your hard earned money.

also it's easier if you take taxi from airport to your home.
