I have my initial interview for my application to Adjust Status or Register to Permanent Residence (I-485), which is marriage-based. I was working without authorization from the immigration after my OPT from school ended. I was working on paychecks and also did pay my taxes.

I am required to bring my w-2 and tax returns for the interview.
1) Should I confess and voluntarily provide the information? And what are the consequences and penalties?
1) Or should I NOT include the w-2 and tax returns and hide the fact? What are the consequences if they do find out later on?

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thanks
