Nepal Bar Association (NBA) president Shambhu Thapa has offered free legal classes on the constitution and rule of law to the vice chairman of the council of ministers, Dr Tulsi Giri.

Advising the vice chairman of the council of ministers, who is also a minister of law, justice and parliamentary affairs, not to speak on rule of law and democracy the NBA president said, ?A person holding an unconstitutional post does not deserve the right to speak on rule of law and constitution.?

The post of vice chairman of the council of ministers is unconstitutional as it is not recognized by our constitution, he added.

NBA, an umbrella organization of law practitioners in Nepal, has announced protests demanding reinstatement of dissolved House of Representatives and restoration of democracy in the country.

Thapa?s response came as a reaction to Dr Giri?s remarks on Sunday that the lawyers? rally taken out in restricted areas were against the law. He had also suggested them to resort to legal recourse than streets for revival of the dissolved House of Representatives.

Thapa was speaking in an interaction program in the capital on Monday.

I think this is a good initiation by lawyers to coach Dr. Giri. He seems really illiterate with regards to constitutions. Do you guys hear one of the interviews of Dr. Giri, so much irritating! I don't know whether KG is doing all these knowingly.
