Dear GBNC Members,

The term of the current GBNC Council is coming to an end. We have organized our legacy programs but initiated many new schemes this year to lead differently. The following is a listing of some of our new initiatives:

a. Professional Development and Networking Group
b. GBNC 5K Race to raise funds for Nepali charity
c. Quarterly E-Khabar
d. Boston Survival Guide (coming out shortly) from the Social Issues Club
e. Summer Sports Day
f. Peace Vigil at Harvard Square after killing of innocent Nepalese in Iraq
g. Student Career Help Workshop
h. Sur Sudha Concert
i. GBNC Hiking Club
j. Happy Hours
k. GBNC Deusi Bhailo Karyakram - our final program

Our appeal to members
=====================

We would love to hear your thoughts on our new direction. Some schemes have been outstanding while some have been mediocre. Let us know:

a. What we did right?
b. What should we have done better?
c. Where did we fail?
d. Would you want GBNC council members to continue this direction or adopt a different strategy?

e. What new programs would you like to see?
f. Praises/Criticisms/anything else..

We encourage all to step forward and lead the Nepali Community in Boston. Make a difference in the lives of your fellow Nepalese. Join the executive team next year. Take GBNC to newer heights.

Attend the first planning meeting of the new executive group on Saturday October 30th at Harvard Science Center. The exact time is on the events section.

We look forward to seeing many of you there :)

Your GBNC Executive Team :)
