Hi,
I was caught selling beer to a minor few months ago. The minor was my regular customer. This wasn't a sting operation of TABC - just a random event and my pure crappy luck. Showed up in jail, got finger-printed and bailed myself out. Now, my case is in court.
Plan to go back to Nepal.I am on study Visa. I asked few police officers around, they say, unless I am convicted, this incident will NOT show up on my record even when they finger-print me at the Port Of Entry.
Anyone who is been through similar situation? Please share your experiences, outcomes of your cases etc.
Looking for honest and encouraging feedbacks.

Yeah, even the killer whom cops catch red-handed is not considered guilty unless s/he is convicted of murder by the court.
It's all about that court and justice thing. If you are proven guilty of what you did, which they'll eventually through all the jury, witnesses and proof and you'll be convicted of your crime. That doesn't mean you should shiver to your soul and think nothing. I don't think that should be a big issue to your immigration status.

Thanks Bitter,
So you are saying is - it won't show up even if I have to finger-print/take photos for Visa interview = because I am not convicted YET, correct?

No, it would be in your history, because the moment it's in their record, it'll stay there for ever.
When those officials punch in your social, they'll see your life in USA . What I'm saying is it should not be taken as a cause which could stop you from re-entering this country. Personally, I don't think it could happen but selling beers to minor is still an offence to the justice system here.
