 Hello nepalibhai,

Officially we cannot bring any food stuffs from Nepal but we recently bought it. Be sure you pack them well (so that the smell does not come out of your luggage bag) and label it.

Good Luck

Nepalibhai lai dami trick sikaidinchu....make sure you put gundruk inside the wrapper of lays, kurkure, cheese balls, or any empty pakged food/snacks items..and seal it either heat seal it, sew it up or staple it and like others said make sure no smell is coming....put it in your luggage not your hand bag...and there will be no problems...that's waht i did and manage to bring two kgs of gundruk...

here's what you can bring in a checked bag, not carry on(as i've brought these stuffs with me):
- gundruk
-masyaura
- gaaleko achaar
- ghiu
- all kind of ground spices (jeera/dhaniya/khursani/besar etc)
- teel, silaam, methi, jwano, etc
- daalmoth, bhujiya, chauchau, etc
- dry nuts and fruits (nariwal, badam, okkhar, etc)
- chhurpi, paau, titaura, etc

just pack them securely so that nothing leaks/breaks otherwise your clothes will smell bad/ruined
and no such "special packing tectics" or hiding required.

Yei nai pauchua ya gundruk. You'll need to declare if you have brought any food and if you do they check your bag and take it away. If you dont you can.
