 This is a two minute video uploaded for you
tube contest to attend One young World Conference to be held in London from
8-10 February 2010.  This video is posted
in format required for the contest where 
we have to include our valid proof of volunteering , our leadership
qualities   and our interest on any five topics to be
discussed  in the plenary
sessions-the  Environment and its
Protection, Developing political leadership for a positive future, The role of
Global business in shaping society through the economy, The media: its changing
identity and power, Interfaith dialogue; world religion and spirituality, and
the Global Health Agenda and video is to be in English Script.  Rijendra has nicely crafted his skills in showing
his leadership qualities,  his encouragement
and inspiration to his generation to take positive action for change and the
strong voice for youths confidently ,though speaking English is very
challenging for youths back home ,in his two minute video.

Rijendra Thapa is playing an active
role  in motivating younger generations
of Nepal for better world.   Rijendra ,an Executive Founder  member of Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO)  is 
carrying  useful global projects
of International Year of  Astronomy, 2009.
International Year of Science, 2009, space Generation Advisory Council, Student
Exploration for Development of Space  among  Nepalese youths.

    Space Science is a new topic in Nepal and
all activities carried in this field in Nepal is of  very grass root level except some of the
researches done under Dr, Binil Aryal and Uday Raj khanal.  Only 10% course of total course is occupied
by Astronomy   in primary and secondary level. No course  in under graduate level covers space science. Only
in masters second year , students are taking astrophysics as elective
paper.  In this context,  NASO understanding the importance of space
science in tackling Global Challenges on climate change, disaster management,
maintenance of peace, global health- has played a huge role in minimizing this
gap of  students  in pursuing their knowledge  on 
Space Science  through various
international projects, NASO has equally motivated  younger generations in studying  science visiting schools and inviting them to
various workshops .  His inspiring deeds has
won him  the First Ever
