Orange County, CA is amongst the more conservative of the major metro areas in CA but it is a fairly diverse community and increasingly so.
Lot of orientals, dhotis, and latinos of course. Congressional reps are Latino women.
What more could u ask for.

so who's coming to OC? i have never been to OC yet..........anybody wants to shed some lights on work and living...........and fun too.

Last summer, I worked at 107th Street in OC. Couple of weeks ago, I emailed my manager asking about the job this summer, I was horrified by his reply when he said that he can't hire me this time because the city council of OC has been made aware of Nepalese illegal workers and it seems that those who hire the illegal workers have to pay uptp $1000 in fine. But this could just be another rumour that my boss heard. I don't know yet. so before you go to OC just make sure, what the deal is all about. I will update about this once I know the whole thing.

thats all crap.......i worked in 43rd st in OC last summer.....and i called my boss a few weeks ago and he was glad that i was coming back to oc......he assured me a job and a raise too !!!

even my manager has asked me to join me as soon as i can. she even put me on the schedule. these are all the craps goin around about oc. There is nothing to worry about.

good luck guys, while you work hard and pursue your degree make sure you make aware about these situations to friends back home, so they don't have to go through what you and i had /have to go through...
