asking in behalf of a friend who got married in Nepal and has 2 kids. He is a citizen and wants to bring his wife and sons to USA. where does he start? what is the process like along with timeline these days?

जो बाईडेन् लाई आफ्नो व्यथा खुलाएर चिठी लेख्नु ब्रो, साथमा अमेरिकी पासपोर्टको फोटो कपि नि हालेर पठाउनुस, बाहिर ( #request for visa ) भनेर लेख्नुस नत्र सम्बन्धित फाँटमा ढिलो पुग्न सक्छ । येसो गर्दा छिटो visa झर्छ, अनि यहाँ आएर AoS गर्ने हो । यो मेरो अनुभब हो , म border cross गरेर आको ५ वर्ष पछि मेरो पासपोर्ट बन्यो अनि मेरो परिवार लाई यहाँ ल्याउने कोसिस गरे , त्यो बेला मलाई कसैले यो प्रक्रियाको जानकारी दिएन अनि म आफैले बाराक ओबामा लाई चिठीलेखे साथमा मेरो पासपोर्टको कपि नि पठाए " priority mail " गरेर, तेस्को २ महिना मै मेरो परिवारको visa झर्यो ऐले त श्रीमती नै US citizen भै सकी। यो बाहेक अरु प्रक्रिया नि होला तर ज्यादै लामो ( करिब १ २ वर्ष नै लाग्ने ), तर मलाई त्यो बारे तेती थाहा भएन । Best of luck
