My friend has similar case, his PD is October 2016. Using chart b he filed 485 last month. Everything was accepted an he's already done biometric too. You can apply it as soon as possible as they are using chart b for AOS for couple of months only

Hi Stha_9328, I'm planning to file I-130 for my spouse pretty soon. Did you file yours for your spouse too? If yes can you please tell me what evidences did you send in to USCIS apart from the regular marriage certificate? I read that we need to submit a booklet with photographs of marriage ceremony and as such. Can you give me clues to create that evidence booklet? Thanks!!

California is processing currently November 4, 2016 cases. I am sure your case will be approved in couple of months when que reaches Feb 2017. For us, long way to go :(

yeah tauruzz, i think it will take more than a year for 130 approval because right now they are processing Nov 2016 cases that means, i am thinking we might see something end of this year.

Why did you guys not apply I-130 and I-485 together? Looks like it is taking longer than 6 month time (usually it takes 6 months). Did you guys get your EAD? Thanks

because 485 is for the people who are already living in States. That is not the case with everyone here.
