You can invite him/her here on K1 visa. Here are two sentences from USCIS website:- "the fiancé(e) visa (or K-1 nonimmigrant visa) allows your fiancé(e) to enter the United States for 90 days so that your marriage ceremony can take place. Once you marry, your spouse may apply for permanent residence and remain in the United States while USCIS processes the application"

How u got ur GC, its non of anyone's/ours business. You did what you had to do. And nobody is gonna or has any right to judge you. But don't BS by telling yours was a genuine asylum case. Are You Comedy Me ??? Of all Nepali people who got their GC through asylum here in US, there is not a single person, YES, NOT EVEN A SINGLE PERSON, who is a real maoist victim. By telling to us Nepalese here at Sajha that you were a real maoist victim, you are disrespecting all the REAL VICTIMS in Nepal who suffered in that dark chapter in the history of our country. Everybody does what he has to do. There are significant percentages of people bending the rules in all other visa categories too, some more some less.
