I am getting into watching Nepali movies these days . Thanks to YouTube . So far the best of mine are: 1. Jerryy 2. TalakJung vs Tulke 3. Loot 4. Kabaddi 5. Badhshala Honorary mention: Saddanga Anmol KC has very bright future. The kiddo needs to bulk up, put more maturity in acting & choose better films with better leading role. So far on the acting Saugat Malla is the most versatile actor. He overdoes it sometimes. Among actress our own Gauri Malla Didi is the best. I have no idea about new ones. Priyanak Karki seems ok and Rekha Thapa as well.

These are not necessarily great nepali movies but recent all over the internet in recent time. I do feel bad for creatures but it's out and rest is history with millions of copies all over, nothing can be retreat once it goes online. if u feel morally bad don't click it and watch, wait for them to come and release at their mercy after years. "biralo le goo lugae jastai lamo samay lagayo vane yestai piracy huncha" that's what i feel. release early , make money, go home, it's just a stupid freaking movie not the creation of sakuntala maha kabya. @instagram, seema rekha and basanti are fictional movies inspired by history, not historical movies.but they were one of the best nepali movies of that time including balidan and adikavi bhanubhakta. seto bagh is a shitty movie, a lot worse than the novel.nir shah ruined one more classic nepali novel.

i salute anmol,nikhil,biraj bhatta, aryan subedi ,dipak raj giri etc. for their involvement in nepali film industry for the last decade or so. it is because of them that the technicians,distributers nd other tens of thousands of people in this industry are surviving and working . making a talakjung or kabaddi or pashuprasad a year wont sustain our industry and the people associated. we must also work on the quantity so that those involved have something to work on and earn their living. it is only because of the commercial movies and their market that experimental directors ,producers and skript writers are alllowed to make great experimental/artistic/alternative movies as the likes of the ones we saw the last decade.
