 What are Documents needed For First Time H1B Stamping?

Namaste !

Please share the information regarding Documents needed for H1B stamping. I am going for H1B end of this month. Below are the documents that i have listed so far. Please Update if further Required. And also if any one has gone thro the interview recently, kindly share the experiences.

Thanks a bunch.

I 797 original(i.e. H1B approval from USCIS)
LCA copy
Client letter
Vendor letter
Employer letter mentioning my pay
Employer company's tax documents
My Individual Tax return for 2012 (printed it from my Taxact.com account as I had filed it myself )
Pay stubs
Client work ID( proof that I'm actually working)

Hi Nepali8,

If you are working for a consultancy, also check if they are in USCIS black list. If they are, its best to not visit Nepal till you get a green card.

What is client letter/vendor letter? are you dealing with the mediator in between you and your employer? I neither have client nor vendor. Everything I do goes directly through my employer.

@ Trillian, Is there any link to check if the employer is black listed or not ? Please provide me the link.
@ Kaliya.. forgot to mention.. I am working as contractor at clients place and there is one layer in between my employer to client.

Check this out ..this is not the latest.. I would google and find...also you can check how many h1b they have filed and gc approved.

But make sure you know the details before you go back to Nepal..i had people who were stuck for more than a year and some who never returned.
