Suing is out of scope, mistakes happen and how could you not be checking on 'em periodically before setting out? 
Put your time now,money and energy to something productive and memorable.

dude, I would at least re-confirm twice-thrice. (first I would book a ticket, weeks later, I would ask for window seat, weeks later, I would act totally dumb and ask silly questions, weeks later I would call and ask how to cancel my ticket but not really do it,.. weeks later, I set out..with print version of everything on my hand)

i have the habit of doing things at the last moment. And now I realized how bad my habit is.

The orbitz refunded me the whole amount I spent on ticket. And plus my flight is for free!! Couldn't get better than this.
