Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist. It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going."

This is Stephen Hawking in his recent book "The Grand Design". This is what majority of scientists believe.For them this universe or multiverse and the existence of conscious beings like we Human are just a quirk of the nature. We are just a creation of nature and bat's ultrasonic capacity is no different from the super brain of Human Beings.

 But there are some small majority of scientists who beg to differ. Like Paul Davies in his book "The Mind of GOD"

"."the existence of mind in some organism on some planet in the universe is surely a fact of fundamental significance. Through conscious beings the universe has generated self-awareness. This can be no trivial detail, no minor byproduct of mindless, purposeless forces. We are truly meant to be here."

For me they are 21st century Sages. Our spirituality should also be revisited in the context of new quantum physics.We should not still only rely on ancient and medieval texts, while discussing spirituality.
