You will have to contact your college in Nepal and the college you are planning to attend in the USA. My guess is that the college in the USA will ask you for your transcript (translated to English if it is in Nepali) and then the registrar's office will determine how many transfer credits you can get. The number of credits that can be transferred varies by colleges in the USA, so there isn't a "one size fits all" kind of solution. However, the procedure is to submit your transcript and let the college determine how many credits are going to be transferred.

From my understanding, your college will send your Nepali transcript to some governing body based in Chicago, Illinois or Michigan for evaluation and subsequently, your Nepali college credits will get transferred. I know of people who've completed a 3 year Undergrad level in Nepal having to study over here for two years before they received an American undergrad degree.

Don't forget to bring the syllabus which mentions each and every information about the classes u took.
The american school would like to know what u read in BBS Accounting class like tax, account, payroll (for example only).

check out world education service
http://www.wes.org/required/index.asp
refer to the article below from
http://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ous/international/usnei/us/edlite-visitus-forrecog.html
SELECTING A CREDENTIAL EVALUATION SERVICE
If the U.S. school or institution recommends that you use a specific credential evaluation service, then use the service, or one of the services, recommended by the international admissions office.
If not, then you can select a credential evaluation service yourself. You can search for credential evaluation services on the Internet, but you should know that there is no federal or state regulation of such services. However, there are two national associations of credential evaluation services that have published standards for membership, affiliations to national and international higher education associations and are frequently linked to and used by federal agencies, state agencies, educational institutions and employers.
National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) is an association of 19 credential evaluation services with admission standards and an enforced code of good practice. (of which WES is a member)
Association of International Credentials Evaluators (AICE) is an association of 10 credential evaluation services with a board of advisors and an enforced code of ethics.
Neither the U.S. Department of Education nor USNEI endorses or recommends any individual credential evaluation service.

Thanks Gandharba ji for your very valuable suggestions. But do we need to pay for this service or is it free?
