Clashes between ruling parties and opposition parties were reported couple days ago. Situation remained tense and I saw as many as 50 getting hurt in those clashes/ political gang fight. just wondering what u think about the outcome of the conflict?
In my opinion, these types of clashes were bound to happen given the political climate was building up. One thing positive was that it was clash across political parties. Leaders could have easily drawn the conflict across ethnic, economic lines for their own political gain, which didn't happen. As an independent (anti-maoists), I thought maobadi won the day in terms of strength but opposition won the sympathy. who lost? people of dailekh for the suffering that was caused.
