some local songs have amazing cross-over appeal, don't they? this number called yeke yeke by Guinean singer Mory Kante set record sin 1987/88 by being the first ever african single to top the music chart in Europe with over a million copies sale. :D...quite a feat, innit?....just imagine some local musician from Nepal being able to do something similar....(I don't see it coming :P)/..
.I can remember at least a half a dozen movies where this music has been used as a backgroudn score in many scenes ....enjoy your friday eve :D
