Hello saathi haru, namaste!!

Balla balla apply garda garda yo paali mero H-1B pick bhaako ho. April ko 2nd week ma tero case lottery maa pick bhayo bhanera khabar aauda mutu le thaau chhodya thyo. However, USCIS has not given any further information as of now. I keep on checking the case number multiple times a day but there is no update. I have also checked with my lawyer but even he doesn't have any idea when I'll get the final approval letter. My current company had applied for my H-1B under the Master's cap. I am currently working on TPS. I have already received my Canadian visa (just in case, to go outside of the country for H-1B visa stamping because my lawyer said adjustment of status is not possible in my case since I only have TPS and no other status). TPS pahila I was working under OPT.

Has anyone received their approval (or any RFE) after your application passed the lottery for this year's H-1B program? I'd really appreciate any help or insights you can provide.

Jai Nepal!!

My case was filed with COS(Change of Statue), so I think I do not need to go out of country for stamping.

@StatusPidit
I hope you will get your H1B approval notification very soon. I know how hard it is to be penalized in status in USA.

@NepaliNajar bro,
I was in the same situation, was laid off and change my status to F1. It took 3 months to get my F1 approved.

Hey StatusPidit! Question to you. Do you have any other status other than TPS? like F1 etc. Is your H1 filed solely on TPS?

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Ok. Fingers crossed then. You MIGHT have to go exit/re-renter on H1 to gain validity of your H1 if approved. It will be explained in your approval letter.

I'm in a similar boat but different situation. Also waiting for my approval.

Good Luck!

@ChorNepali
Mine was Change of Status, so consular processing is not required. I do not need to exit from the county.

@NepaliNajar, that's good to hear. You also didn't have any other status other than F1?

@NepaliNajar, If you only had TPS and were not maintaining your F1 or any other status and still did not require to exit then its a great news for someone like StatusPidit, me and many others.

@statuspidit, exit/re-entry won't be a problem. I had done it before in Ottawa, Canada. Tara yedi stamping chai approve vayena ra AP ma entry garnu paryo bhane chai H1 jancha ni feri. Tara as per NepaliNajar we are in good shape.

Good Luck again for your approval!

No, I am in TPS along with F1, that's why I forced my attorney to file H1B with Change of Status rather than consular processing.
