Neural, yeap the guy that replaced Dante (after he was fired) taught us rest of the year..He was a cool dude. he was pretty lenient in makrs too.. i'm sure most of our batch students got 23-25 in acount's practical. i better not talk about the scandle here..

chipledhunga, i think khotta and kapal jagaltaune was very popular act of Indira Dalli.. i never forget her punishment (kapal jagaltaudai khotta handai) to me when i was in the 8th grade for speaking nepali in her class!! do u believe it?? I honestly didnt know how to speak english then.. And u know what, as a revange i did a loola hanne failed attempt during holi from outside of men's toilet. ha ha.. it was AWESOME!!!

I'm sure there are lot more Ex-bhanubhaktan hangout in here.. come on guy.. Bring 'em up, all ur sweet memories..

Although Ale didnt teach us,he used to be a visitor once in a while in our class...There was a 1 min silence held on the memory of late ishwor gurung sir...i cannot remember what struck my mind to laugh out loud in that pindrop silence....Dyamn...Ale beat me so badly for that with his plastic wrapped metal sticks...this incidence never goes out of my head.

I didn't know Ishwor Gurung had passed away until 1997. He taught us optional math in class 10, was a good teacher. I used to meet him quite often in the Kupondole area roads for the first couple of years after SLC.

I was in Bhanu Bhakta for only class 9 and 10, so do not have as many memories to share as many of you do. Some of the other teachers I can recall are:

Sukdev Neupane: good math teacher but often too sarcastic
Birendra Bhandari (mathematics)
Krishna Prasad Ghimire (Nepali)
Dilip Nakarmi (English)
Sunil KC aka Gandhi (Science): Must be my favorite teacher..can not forget his "terimaa swaanth" followed by a duster beating on each hand if students failed to answer questions. He was often very harsh on grading exams.
Bijaya Manandhar (Health)

Sai ram, r u talking of that guy vishma kumar oli? I was in grade 2 when he was the incharge. He had things going on with a lil slutty Ujjawala miss. At least, that's what the boys used to gossip on. I have kinda faded memory of that guy: a lilttle of a hunk n sturdy.

. Khagendra Baidhya was a nice guy.

Sainla, yes we are :) shoot me email.

Vijaya Manandhar was doing MSc in TU, i guess, while he was teaching us Science in 8. Nice drawing by him.

Gayatri (dhungana?): yes, very polite and lovable; many stories too! (she taught us in 6)

Who were Sukadev sir's students? i was in different section, but those in 9 D (i guess) guys used to rag him a lot throwing ek suka (25 paisa) during his period. Sainla knows?

I forgot the Opt. Maths teacher first name, his surname is Niraula(?), a bit balded guy, but a nice teacher.

Does anybody know whereabouts of Sandesh Bhatta? i heard he was in Texas before.

Rajan: u were also in strike for the morning class ? ;)

Vakunde: "chipledhunga, i think khotta and kapal jagaltaune was very popular act of Indira Dalli.."

Vakunde, no, its Jhuma miss. She even used to do so to the girls.

Sunil KC's SWAATH was famous; we used to have extra classes of Science before SLC as the course was not completed on time. I think we were the first SLC batch in which the syllabus of Maths and Science (objective type) was changed. All the questions of Maths exam was copied and pasted from G.D. Panta's book.

What batch you guys are from? I'm from 2049. I can see a wide range of batches getting involved in the thread. Some teachers' names seem familiar to me while others don't. Anbody remember "KHATTARE"? He was one of a kind... Computer Sir was another showpiece too who got stabbed by one of my classmates....baldev boka, liliput, gaire were all hilarious..
