to get medicare u gotta be 65 or older...and i dont think they have free medicare...medicare pays 80% and 20% for the patient...unless u have a secondary insurance...then they pay the rest...

the government health insurance plan covers the medicare but not dental cares, you HAVE to pay money for dental cares which is relly expensive!!!! and for the people that have high incomes also have to pay money for health care. but now since stephen harper is the pm.. i guess its changing

well its like this.. the high income you have the more tax you pay.. its not a bad thing for middle income people and for the healthcare system.. Canadas known as the best healthcare system but still they're just kinda playing games somehow cuz Canadians are healthy so they dont need too much medicares and other thing, most of the Canadian people arent poor so majority ones would be paying for healthcare but its a good thing the government pays for healthcare for ones who cannot afford it, thats a good system. ever watched john q?

Well you should watch John Q!!!! its a great one.. yeah its unfair but really rich people, its no headache for them and canadas not really like showing off what you got.. its just living life not about showing off how much money or properties you got.. and there's no free education after high school but somehow theres this syetm where the government pays money for the education AND provies a job for the student who is really poor and have no income, its apretty good system... because every canadians seem satisfied with it. And yes tax is always a headache anyway, be it poor or rich..

i dont think its unfair for the rich ones because its like you get your income right and you pay almost half of it for the tax and you already have lotta money left anyway, for the middle income ones, if they also had to pay almost half money of their income to the tax, they couldnt afford their lives ni.. and their is no poor people in Canada (very rare)) cuz everyone has a job, be it labor or official.. you know.. so they get income anyway.. and the ones rhat dont work.. like disabled or who desperately cannot work get social care and thats a welfare system.. tose people depend on welfare their life...so yeaaaahhh........ its fair its fair, fair for everybody.

well obviously if you have like million dollars income per year, you would have to pay money for health care cuz it looks like you're not in short of money, you got enough and then after that they'd still have pleny of monet left over ani the middle income ones ko ta tyasto hudaina... live life here and you'll understand what its like, its fair for everyone, try living here and you'll knoow and about the 50 years thing, obviously the systems keep changing in every county as the pms and presidents do but right now its all good (culture and language thingi is very satisfying, they respect every cultures and languages, in the other hand ESL classes are free or very low payment)
