Himtel is ripping off the customers. Which other reliable and cheap calling cards are you guys using to call into Nepal. Some calling cards brags about being cheap, but there are numerous hidden fees which ultimatley are expensive.
Please share your experience.

Bros, I called nepal using callforeign. When I called from callforeign app in my iPhone, it sends my user name to my people in nepal and when i called using access number, it sends my own number and call quality is very good. Looks like they are legal company.

I use raza.com. I am happy with it. It gives me 118 minutes for 10 dollars. Direct dialing. As of now I have not experience any problem in connection. Sometimes there is disturbance but who cares as long as there is no communcation breakdown and you understand what the other end is saying and vice versa. I was a himtel customer earlier, but I quit himtel after they increase the rate.

how about Vonage world service? I used to useHimtel and then used Raza.com. RAza.com is preety good but I was spending way too much money as i make lot of calls.
Then about 3 months ago, I bought Vonage, I pay $54.99 +tax and get unlimited call to Nepal Landline as well as 80 other countries. I call couple of other countries as well quite often.
Its working preety good for me. And after getting Vonage I changed my cell phone plan to less minutes per month saving some money there. I am happy with them.

Try   raza.com (raza calling cards). Its cheapest of all. Only 8.3 cents a minute, and u can get 10% bonus minutes on auto recharge. I have been using this card since last 8 months or so, and I dont have any complain about sound quality and any other hidden costs, except some route congestion problem. U can try this once. All the best.

Hey if u r using iphone.. I would suggest u guys to give callforeign a try. U can download iphone app and gives u 1 dollar credit. Later u can add more balance using paypal with minimum being 5 usd. I thought it was preety good. I used to use all these himtel, hamrotel, yetitel, shittytel and all dat nepali crap companies. It preety much sucked. Call not goin thru, low voice quality and other hidden fees. Then i tried rebtel it was good but way expensive. Now i m gonna use this.

Another service is www.voipmove.com. I have been using this since May 2011. It has an excellent quality. Call rates are also cheap. Call rate for landline in 8cents per minute and mobile is 11 cents per minute. U may send SMS at 3 cents per sms. If U have a smartphone, U may download the application mobile VOIP. Its like the call foreign.
