Long time ago, I had posted inquiring how to stream Nepali Online FMs in mobile phone. Nobody answered. Perhaps there were no possiblilities. Today I have great news to share all of you that you can stream some of the Nepali FMs (Kantipur, Nepal FM, Radio Sagarmatha, BSBF Gurkha Radio, Maitri FM) right on your iPhones. You can listen to them while on walk, on the break, on the ride, anywhere. You feel like you are in your hometown. Isn't this the great news for the people like us?

So far as I know, there is not such app till now for G1 Android which lets you to add your own station beyond their database. In future too, it depends upon its popularity. If it is more popular, you may find more applications. So be patient.

Looks like a lot of people are interested in listening to nepali FMs on their Iphone. As one of the iphone users, I also tried various sources to play nepali FMs on my phone. Finally succedeed a few months ago to play almost all radios on Iphone except Radio Nepal. Seeing everybody's enthusiasm I would love to share all the urls I have to stream all nepali radios.

First you need to download Fstream: (Note* - Fstream is unreliable )
For,
Machhapuchre FM, on your url bar type: "mms://wm1.spacialnet.com/MachhapuchhreFM"
BFBS Gurkha Radio: "mms://venus.radica.com/bfbs3?.wma"
Nepali Collections: "http://nepalicollections.sytes.net:8000"
Radio Lumbini: "http://202.79.53.209:8080"
Kantipur FM: "http://67.202.67.18:8002"
 
The best thing is to download Wunder Radio from app store as some of our friends mentioned above. It will cost only 5.99$ and brings almost all the nepali radios on iphone. Then type nepal or nepali. It will show you all the streaming nepali radios on wunder radio.  We can add urls on the search bar and bring more nepali radios on Wunder Radio. Here is the list:

What's up guys! I am back! I found a new url for nepal's first comedy FM (Radio-Audio FM 106.3)

I'm sharing it with you all... It plays in both Fstream and Wunder Radio.

the URL you specified above  BBC Nepali Sewa : "http://http-ws.bbc.co.uk.edgesuite.net/asx.esi?nepali/tx/nb/nep1500.wma" and nepal's first comedy FM (Radio-Audio FM 106.3) mms://119.2.60.76:8080" are not working in my iphone. Are you sure that they r working on yours? Pls make sure. I am still working in Radio Nepal.

           The BBC url only works on Wunder Radio, whereas the "Radio-Audio" url is perfectly working in both Fstream and Wunder Radio. Make sure that you type in the right url..

     I found a new url for a new FM radio "Nepaliko Radio 88.8 MHz". As usual, I love to share it with u all.
     "http://216.45.57.242:8000". It plays in both Fstream and Wunder Radio.

     14 nepali radios so far.....!!!  Enjoy guys!

Hi all!

     Finally I managed to play Radio Nepal on Iphone. First, you have to download the new Wunder Radio software update. Then select new wunder radio web tab (bottom right). Then type the url of Radio Nepal web page "www.radionepal.org" and select "Listen Online".

 Le Voila! Radio Nepal will play on your Iphone.

 Now we have all the major nepali radio stations on our Iphone!

Now waiting for TV apps on iphone!
