Hi there guys and gals,

I need your help in this: Does anyone know how to make the thread on the cone of the attached photo using Solidwork ? I am sure people who are well conversed with software should have no problem.

I am hoping that some one can provide me with a step by step solution to this.

I nepali , I did my best to solve. I dont whether it serve ur purpose.
Step 1 shows your orginal part.
Step 2 says to check shaded option.

Step 3 shows to highlight the minor dia.
Step 4 shows the option for the thread.

When you finish step 4, click right mark. then it should be as following. Control your depth "D" and diameter option.
