Girija collapsed on the road today following mass meeting at New Baneshwor. Is this the end of the road for him? Will he, can he recover his health?

Girija and one of his neverending dramas.

He might be old but unhealthy? I don't think so. And I don't think this is the end of the road for him, No way. It's just another service station in his life, where he stops to clean up the messed-up spark plug just enough to drag his political-CAR(eer) little bit further. It's a drama, and past 15 years Girija has successfully proved that he is worthy of lifetime achievement Oscar awards in the field of acting. This collapsing-of-drama-queen is just another feather in his cap, not yet the final act. Can't you see, he needed enough sympathy to jump his dark political career, and there could not be any better timing than the mass meeting at New Baneshowr?

It's just the beginning, the beginning that will never end till the end of Nepal.
And it seems like Girija will never die till the end of the new beginning.

I am not really in the mood of defending koirala here but i think that we can not just blame koirala GP for everything whatever goes wrong in Nepal. First of all, we have to give up all our personal interests and biases before we come for discussion. GP Koirala is a man who has been absolved from almost all the charges of corruption by CIAA but still, we think he is a corrupt guy.why? Coz we are influenced and we judge the matters from our personal knowledge and from our biased mentality............That we have to give up.........in one day, no one can change our country..........so let's hope that GP will learn from the past but sympathy is required gys, irrespective of his nature.....u may like it or not..........

1whocandie4u ,
Girija was the first PM in the elected govt after 1990 revolution. ALl the people had great hopes for the democracy. Guess what! Girija shows big middle finger to all Nepalese and indulged himself into the power struugle and corruption. You say he is not corrupt. Just see the lifestyle and property owened by his relatives and Koirala clan. He is the culrpit for taking Nepalese into current situation. Now only he stole from Nepal, he crushed the hope of every single Nepali. He made the joke of democracy and linlked the democracy as him being a PM.

Keep sucking up to Girija. For myself I will not even feel little pity if he was burned alive or burried alive or thrown out in the desert without any water for vultures to feed on him. I will feel pitty for the vultures cause they had feed on Girija but for Girja I can just imagine worse.

u can blame him but vindication should be through propper channel..............otherwise anybody can set up any RCCC or KCCC or something stuff like that and can send to jail even to u ................so , we have to think about that
If SC of Nepal gives him life imprisonment on Corruption, believe me, no single tear flow down my eyes and i will be really happy for maintaining rule of law...............but for the popular supports, we should not say that i will show him my middlefinger anytime even at the time of his lynching...............In civilized society, these type of thoughts are uncalled for...............

so far as people' aspiration, it takes some times and we should believe that coming days wiill be great and these dirty leaders will clean themselves................Please do not overcome your reasoning by emotions

1whocandie4u ,

What r u talking about??? Girija is the one who made the mockery about each and every legal system present in the Nepal. He questioned the legality about the constinutioanlly created CIAA when they indicted him. There is no law for him. He is above the law in his own words. He started the trend of disolving parliamnet and going for the mid term election which finally brought the Big G in power.

To set the legal framework we need independet and free institutions which ironically is not present. Even to start a free institution resistance a like of Girija should be eliminated. Look at his own party. He is a dictator. A Traitor like Girja does not deserve any sympahy.

not defending GPK.
Gyanendra gives some shit only to GPK's authority right now. All others mean nothing to King--rest are Bhoosoona haru .
I don't think any other politicians would have done any better immediately after democracy.
No politician can think of developing country if he needs to work day and night to save his position as soon as he gets in office.
Just recall how many times govt changed in nepal...
