https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories/nepal-travel-advisory.html Not sure why it's taking time for #TPS extension or redesignation by DHS since we only have less than 60 days before expiration. I thought we'll have notice by now, but not. Maybe we'll have a notice around September first week. Thoughts?

Redesignate means Nepal is not safe go currently. So every Nepali citizen currently here , in 2021, qualifies to file TPS. Renew simply means renewing the TPS of people who had TPS since 2015 for another 18 months. As you know, one of the criteria of getting TPS was to have been in USA when earthquake happened in 2015.

That is correct, if it redesignates every Nepali currently residing in US will be able to file for TPS
