Himtel is ripping off the customers. Which other reliable and cheap calling cards are you guys using to call into Nepal. Some calling cards brags about being cheap, but there are numerous hidden fees which ultimatley are expensive.
Please share your experience.

Hey there is [Disallowed String for - excessive promotion]    It cost 15 cents for a minute.
You can set up smart dial number so that u don't need to dial acccess no or code no as in HIMTEL. The voice quality is also awesome.

Also they give an offer for the first time user.  i.e. If you purchase $10 for the first time, they will give you $10 extra bonus. it means total will be $20. And they give same amount to the recommender too.

If you need refer, I can send you. Both of us will get benefit.

Cheap VOIP calls are being blocked by the Government of Nepal. Sooner or later, all voip terminated calls will eventually be closed down therefore, rates to call Nepal has increased drastically. Himtel has tied up with a Tier 1 company from Nepal. Now call to Nepal at 14 cents per minute with the best connection available. The called person will know you are calling, as your number will be displayed to them.

@evilinside, We at Himtel believe it is "customer support" that brings in customers again and again to buy from us eventhough there are a lot of choices in the market.  We believe in 100 percent guarantee. The HImtel Premium card does not deduct minutes without any proper connection. If you believe you have not been given a good solution, please call us again at  1800 543 6540 so that we can look into the issue. If you are not pleased with the service we will be more than glad to refund the remaining balance from your phone card

Hi there, I heard about callforeign (callforeign dot com) from 2 of my friend. They say, it charges 11.5c only for all nepal, works purely per minutes and not extra charge and no charge with out connection, Premium sound quality. Please let me know if any one has used it. Though there is online sign up and payment facility I have not tried yet. Please let me know.

i started using dial91<dot>com recently. So far, this is the best card i've found for the rate (9 cents/minute). i have used rebtel and himtel before but gave up after the bills kept growing.

Be aware of those companies advertising low rates to Nepal. They are selling VOIP terminated calls which can be shut down by the Govt. of Nepal anytime. If you have been following the news back home, illegal VOIP terminators are being arrested and each day a low rate calling card provider here in the US reverts to higher rates or gets totally shut down. Be aware of these fly by nights companies who trick you to buy their low rates cards and once their provider back in Nepal get caught totally shuts the company..must have noticed about www.hamrotel.com,
If you have been using low rates cards, use it so at your risk for a provider in Nepal may get arrested and your balance may get lost any time. my two cents. better start using freebies like skype and all..

Friends, I just tested callforeign services since there is FREE 1$ upon sign up. It gives me very good sound quality and rate is 11c for any number in Nepal. I want to buy 10$ credit. How do I know if this company is using illegal voip in nepal and will shut down service with my money? Is there any way to verify?

@bhimesh, you can ask the number displayed in receiver's cellphone and if its local number (NTC, MERO or UTL) then its illigal VOIP, if it display no number or your own number then its clean call
