Three Nepali students were caught in INS raid in Beaumont, TX last week......and they are in the process of deportion.The students are most probably from Lamar University. If anyone knows more deatils please post and be informed.

i have work permit and i dont need to worry, but green card holders should be deported with their illegal allies.

oii anu taro bau daani cha holaa nepal ma ..... sai ko tasto hudaina ...... kasile pani sok le kaam gare ko hoina..... baadhya taa chaa.... have to pay for one's school. I still think INS has better thing other then going after students, who are in legal status but had to work to pay for the tuition.

From the economical stand point too, it is better for a country if you spend all of what you have earn.

Criminal and corrupted Nepali and Nepali government official taught their childern bad mentality.

Lets be sensible guys.... Those people (arrested) came to america with a same purpose in mind that we all did, better education. I had to pay my tuition for school working my ass off. I still remember those tough days.
I have total respect to those paying their own expenses(tuition and others) rather then some mouching of others.

If you dont have to any thing nice, just dont say anything.

i am very disappointed with this.

Its most of us "nepalese" who come here for the better future who has to work and support ourselves. except few of those neo-richies whose family wealth can support them for 4 yrs undergrad spending $160,000

its rather unfortunate that some of us "who prolly got free ride to some school and who were fortunate enuff to be born here or have a legal status because of some luck or deception" is bashing others.

please guys if you do not have nice to say please also do not bash them. they were trying to help themselves. they did not want to plight their family.

sometimes its just bad luck being in a wrong place in a wrong time. of course BCIS/DHS does not come after student in particular but Law enforcement agencies[federal, state or local] can and do report to BCIS/DHS after they have completed their priliminary investigation.


I wish them luck and hope that they would be able to pull it through.

Why are they deporting students who work hard and pay thier tution? A hard working gastation cleak who's on F1 pays 3 times more in college, supporting two other wite dudes or freaking legal status holders.
They should deport all fake asylum holders and thier children who get help from Govt to go school.They should deport all dumb DV visa holders too, who can't further than liviing in mobile homes and back biting about other poor students.

Also they need to bust Nepali and deshi gangs who are using immigration loop holes, promising people to help on thier legal status and making slaves out of innocent students and hard working people with no working status.

I hope someone will sometime end this slavery.

Your poll will be biased as most people using sajha are students. Very few people with DV lottery use internet compared to almost 100% students using internet.

Did those student have their social sceucity? If so, why is it illegal to work offcampus?
