Nepalese people are the most stupid people ever. Do they think burning Indian flag in the streets and hash tagging backoffindia in Facebook might actually stop India from interfering with Nepal. Do they really think china would supply them millions of gallons of gas each day or this "New Constitution" which stupid Nepalese were celebrating couple days ago would generate food and gas on its own. Trust me, we will live without getting salt from India but we will NOT stop watching Indian movies, tv shows and indian sports. India is making millions everyday from selling garbage entertainment (movies and soap operas) which most Nepali doesn't even realize. Those who do are so addicted to it, they will come to defend it at any cost. Boycotting Indian entertainment will cause a huge dent to India.

Nepali people are funny as hell. Indian nominal gdp is 2304 billion and Nepali nominal gdp 60 billion which is just 2.6%. If India completely blocks every thing, Nepal will bankrupt in few months. Further, most likely 40% (may be more) people in nepal happily will accept India as their country.

By not looking indian movies and television serials, you cannot dent any thing on india or its economy. First be realistic in thinking then start from there. Nepali will go through a difficult time and things will change drastically, no doubt about it. It will take some time to fix the road and the infrastructure to be able to export to Nepal. But to say Nepal will go bankrupt is bit naive. Remember we do business with India. Loosing 27+ million customer in all sector of business (food, entertainment, agriculture, energy etc) all of a sudden is not a joke for any country. More opportunity for China to cash in. They are far more business minded than the Indians. To serve 27 million new customer, Chinese government will do things beyond your imagination.

Just as much as you think they will wait for us to go dry and die, Indian businesses will not allow that to happen. Customer always wins, not the manufacturer.

China does not have any thing cheaper than india (food items) even in main land china. When that transported from there to Nepal for 5000KM calculate how expensive it will be in Nepal. Only thing china can supply in nepal is other non food items that too will be quite difficult when we use only through tibet. Currently most of chinese stuff is transported to Nepal from Colkata (sea route) (I am guessing here as Guanzhou (manufacturing hub in china is in south east of china (it is more south than Nepal)).

There are real Nepalese in Madhes too. Those Nepalis are have older history than Chetri Bahuns in that land. I think they call themselves Dharti Putras. These are real Nepalis. They having been living there before Chetri Bahuns and Newars moved from India. They could even be there way before the Kirats were there. Tharus, Rajbanshis, Dhimal, are few examples. Those real Nepalese who live in Madhes are not happy that their agenda, lifestyle, and their culture has been hijacked by the Biharis. Nepal Govt should have addressed their concerns long ago but this is what we pay for having short sighted ignorants rule our country.

There is a huge difference between Dharti Putras and the imported Biharis....Imported bihars who have taken Nepalese citizenship for one and only reason...that is to occupy Nepal politically for the Benefit of India. Those Biharis are the ones that our fight should be against.

I still hope that this whole India show down is for Bihar elections. Once its over Modi will come in line too, the Bihari leaders in Nepal will be tried for murders in Nepal, their political status will be over.
