Yep, I'll tell you right now. Biggest losers are us. We've lost it.....till now. But we have'nt lost it ALL yet. We're gaining now. First we gain by losing monarchy's power. We dont want to lose monarchy because that's what makes nepal stand. With Gyane just a celebrated king, it'll be like england where he'ss be the talk of tabloids.
The next losers are gonna be maoists. They cant control a band of uneducated hot blooded rebels for long. Once they see thaty theyre killing off innocent people, theyll put their guns down.

Understood Gyane was a Chor...but PN Shah...well, I thought he united the country, not divided it??? May be I need to study Maoist's prescribed text-books from hereon to get the facts about Nepalese history.....

I like the Optimism that TIMETRAVELER laid out.....Krishna Bhattarai, when he was the PM said he will turn Nepal into Singapore....that humor is still there....its Zhingapore and getting even worse.....Time will Tell though....I guess.....

I think it is too early to predict who the real loosers are.

Its bitter truth that the real problem will start in Nepal with the initiation of unravelling relegious harmony. The fact is that Nepal was secular country in practice till yesterday but not from today.

Loosing relegious harmony means welcoming conflict, the most dreadful form of conflict ever the world witnessed and will be witnessing.


Ofcourse this is time to translate ideal into practical politics realising the true meaning of People`s Movement II. Every decesion should be taken with clear vision with proper impact analysis. But the same bunch of ill educated, corrupt leaders are again starting to make decesion without any proper vision to win the surface popularity.

We are the people who are suffering the result of their past misdeeds and we along with our future generation will be the real sufferer of their present political decesion.
