Im thinkin to go for central europe tour ( in Feb-March) and little confused about my route and plan. Here is my rough schedule.

1. First flight to Frankfurt from my city. ( I live in Scandanavia- Norhtern Europe)
2. 1 day in Frankfurt, Germany
3. Then Im thinkin to take train to Brussels, Belgium or Amstredam Holland, then a bust to Luxumborg.
4. From there a bus or train to Paris, France.
5. Then to Geneva, Switzerland (by bus or train)
6. Back to Frankfurt by bus or train
7. Finally back to basics, (flight from Frankfurt to hometown)

But Im just thinkin which is the best, shortest and the most ECONOMIC route to travel in central Europe after landing in Frankfrt, Is it good to take train to Brussels or Amstredam or Luxmeborg?

Then Im also plannin to visit Paris, so how should I start? should I go Paris first then to Burssels, Amstrdam or what? I dont have concrete idea...thougj I ve checked all it in internet, it would be great to have ur personal experience.

Your valuabel experiences and ideas highly APPRECIATED.

Im goin for only a week (max 10 days) trip and want to make it economic ha ha ha ha...

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Ke cha Amazing? Nice to know you got some time to travel. Anyways the plan you made is fine. But check this out
http://europa.eu.int/youth/travelling_europe/index_eu_en.html If you are less then 25 you should be getting discounts everywhere...so make use of it. And since you are from Scandanavia everything here will look cheaper to you. By the way are you staying in youth hostels? Dont forget to take your student id with you.

Amazing bro,
Oh! nice to hear that you are soon setting off for central Europe tour, sounds absolutely great! But I prefer summer for travelling around Europe as winters are chilly, freezing, snowy and what not. I was in The Netherlands last summer and spent all the eleven days in the same country, visited Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Haarlem. Was thinking of sneaking into Belgium as well, but didn't, due to lack of advanced planning. You can find and book cheap hostels in this website - www.hostelworld.com
Next time, I am planning to fly to Germany, then rail into Belgium and France before flying back. But that would only be in the summer since the weather is gloomy these days and also I am in a very busy schedule, don't have time to travel until summer. If luck favours, will watch one of the World Cup football matches in Germany.
Anyway, happy journey, amazing!!

Hi Matrixrose and Nirman, how are things? I am also too busy to write too much in sajha these days. Will come to Leuven someday to have momo party with you guys!

Amazing bro,
मलाई नक्शा भनेपछि किन हो खै टाँस्न मन लागि हाल्छ भन्या, नक्शा भनेपछि हुरुक्कै हुन्छु, नक्शा नै मेरो कमजोरी हो कि क्या हो? I am waiting for summer because the weather would be nice enough at that time, unlike the solemn winters, and I can spend much time outdoors while I go around Europe. तपाइका गीतहरू रमाइला छन्, I enjoy them, keep them coming. I will surely meet you when I come to Scandinavia, meanwhile you are always welcome to the 'Emerald Isle' in westernmost Europe, where the number of Nepalese is burgeoning everyday. Ireland has managed to attract many migrant workers and students from around the world, including Nepal these days, probably because of the 'Celtic Tiger' economy and ever improving living conditions. लौ, मेरो 'ट्रेडमार्क' नक्शा हेरिहालौं। युरोपको नक्शा:-

Amazing mitra,

let me do as if i am trying to help u out, not sure if i can though.

First, Feb-March is still very chiso in those places nii, but ya compared to Scanda, u will find it warmer and nice.

Definitely your trip is worth making, and those countries u mentioned are great to visit. Hmm,, how long u plan to move around in Europe. If u plan to move a lot, then u might check the price with Eurolines, thats the bus service, and i think they still have such offers like flat rate for 15 days trip or a month trip etc. But i also must say my experience dates back 3-5 years and so things might have changed a bit for now. But, train is also not that expensive. U gotta experience TGV from Brussels-Paris-Brussels, and thats a great train to take.

Good places to visit around would be: Koln, Berlin, Heidelberg, Frankfurt in Germany. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Hague in Netherlands, and may be Keukonhoff (if the garden is open). Paris is definitely worth. Brussels, Gent, Brugge, Oostende and i could add Leuven also (and u seem to be getting a momo party there). Leuven is not that great place to see, but the city center there is small and cozy. U might feel like walking in New Road KTM, while u walk from the city center towards the train station. I still have memories having a momo party in Leuven in one of the student's apartment, and ya i did enjoy one time dashain tika there. I thnk there are lots of neps in Leuven now, and at that time, during my visit to Leuven in dashain, the phone shop had written - Bijaya dashami ko upalakchyama Bishesh Chuut - for phone calls to nepal. Ha Ha Ha.

U know what,, if u r below 25, u might want to buy one of that student tickets for train, and u can get like 10 trip tickets for very cheap. That was how it used to be in Belgium, but i am not sure to what other countries such tickets apply.

As u r in Scanda, u will find everything cheap in mainland europe. ee aniii,, while with momo party in Leuven, don forget to enjoy the belgian beers (i recommend Hoegaarden and Leffe). I miss those in USA, and here everybody seems going nuts with Heineken, which i don like that much.

youth hostels are very cheap, and along with it u get that morning breakfast. we had a youth hostel in Paris for $15 a night and that included breakfast also, and i miss those days as everythings are expensive here in USA. The metro in Pari is great, and takes u everywhere u want.

Good luck for the trip.
