Devotee Visits Canceled until Thursday, May 13

Dear Devotees

Out of an abundance of caution we have decided to close the temple for 7 days from Friday May 7th, till Thursday May 13th for all devotees. During this time the priests will continue to perform Nithya Pujas. The reason for closure is a priest who returned from India on April 30th has tested positive for COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated. However, he has no symptoms and will quarantine for 14 days and we hope and pray that this a false positive test. As an added precaution, all of our priests (who are fully vaccinated) have taken the COVID test today.

The efficacy rate for vaccine is not 100% but it does reduce the seriousness of the virus if one contracts it.

Chances of getting covid is like 0.005 percent to 0.5 depending on age and existing conditions. Getting vaccine reduces that chance a little bit more. But there is always a small chance of vaccine injury or death too from vaccine side effects. Difficult to understand these things. Stay safe everyone.

The only website I find credible is something that has been a cornerstone of credibility. It is a shrine's homepage for crying out loud that looks like something an idle 17 year old created over the weekend.

That being said, why would they specifically point out that the priest 'had been tested positive despite being vaccinated'? He came from India, not Norway, if you aren't aware about how shady things in India are, you live in the state of perpetual oblivion.
