1. I would come out.. and tell the people that you bought the lottery and you didn't stole it from the old dude.. its yours (imaginative)as he don't have any proof.. Its bullshit that he says he always buys the ticket from his grandchild b'day, mom'z b'day, dad'z b'day. its all bullshit. sometimes there are 2 or 3 shared lottery winners. does it mean that all of them cheated???

2. if you have the ticket in your hand. than you are the rightful owner of the money. whoever presents the lottery in the office. he/she will be the owner of the money.

3. Lastly, i would use each and every penny to sue the media that has flashed that the money has been stolen and have the bad image of yours throughout the world..

There is a possibility that Mr. Willis might have sold that ticket to Mr. Pankaj... It's very hard to prove though.. but Pankaj can sue the media, as walkahead says.... I hope police had already checked the birthdates of budha's family members !!

There should be a pubishment to Mr. Willis for not writing his name at the back of the ticket..... had he written the name.. Pankaj could not have cashed it out.... in that sense... the cause of Pankaj's deed is Mr. Willis himself. Don't cry too much, Mr. Willis... it's your fault at first the first place.... you caused Pankaj to walk in that path...

P. Joshi is not a thief. He has not taken anything forcefully. He just took advantages of flaws in lottery claiming procedures. He legally claimed the money with lottery Commission office. Whoever has the ticket, money goes to them.

Even if Pankaj did wrong as the media/police says... still Mr. Willis should be punished... It could be that Mr. Willis might be lying..Mr. Willis could have dropped the ticket few days ago somewhere... and Mr. Joshi might have found it.. and naturally he would like to see if the ticket is a winner. So he might have scanned where he worked. Unless there's a CCTV recording.. but I believe the tape has already been erased.. coz they don't keep the recording for any longer than few days...

I think Pankaj has a case in his hand to sue Mr. Willis, The Store Owner, The Police and the Media. Nepal government should seriously consider helping out Pankaj Joshi.. since mud has been thrown to "NEPAL". This is a serious and blatant excesive extra judicial crime USA system is playing against small country like NEPAL.

Is there any good Nepalese Lawyer in USA.. he shodl take up the case and sue in proxy of Mr. Pankaj. Pankaj himself shodl not appear at this moment.. coz we know the USA system can wreck him.

Ved555  on what ground do you think pankaj joshi has the case ??? Don't be naive. He is hiding somewhere. He knows he did wrong.

And don't think law is so weak. If somebody checks the lottery number they know exactly from where the ticket is bought from and at what time. And by checking the CCTV footages during that time they would know that indeed mr willis has bought the ticket.


Pankaj might think he is smart but he is stupid and sooner or later he will be caught.  Remember he is living in fear now. What do that millions of dollar do when you live in fear.  His name is so widespread now that any nepali who knows him can BLACKMAIL him . This guy's life is fk*d  up.  I hope he gets caught. 

I agree, they exactly know from which lotto terminal that ticket was bought. I am not doubting that.

I agree that CCTV may be able to tell that Mr. Willis bought it. But one possibility is the CCTV tape must have been wiped out. They don't keep the recording for long time...

Yet, there's no CCTV which could have recorded at the time when somewhere else Mr. Willis was selling that lotto ticket (or exchange) for a buck to Joshi, coz he needed that precious buck to come up with adequate amount to buy a pack of beer. Well, who knows he could be a complete teetotaler.. but we don't know yet. Or he was trying to buy that pack for a fug...

Police might have matched all his grandchildren and all his wives birth-dates with the winning numbers... but still selling that ticket to Joshi cannot be ruled out.

There's a possibility for Joshi to sue these guys.... but as I said, he must be in hiding for now... coz you know the racial discrimnation against yellow skin, and Joshi could be destructed by the law authorities.

Joshi clamed the prize and got that and the chapter closed.

The chapter reopen when Joshi co-worker (co-worker/ friends) are complain at the lottery office.

I have no complain about what Joshi did, I have complained what his coworker/ friends did?
