All the other nations in the world are marching forward but Nepal has been going backwards. I think China should take over not just Tibet but also Nepal as well so that atleast development will take place in the region.

Gundaa bro, if you think I made all that up, then I have nothing to say. Nice talking to you.

"every country borrows money from other country hell even the united states borrows money from china to be realistic nepal cannot survive without foreign aid its upto our politicians how to utilize the aid and its obvious our netas do what with the money so first of all we all should get together to get rid of all these netas but we ourselves are weak we are taking shelter in foreign land and all we can do is rant about our nation in a forum like this and others.......i feel depressed"

Spoiled bro, you brought up something to the light. America borrowing from China which only comes to second after Japan but it's a piece of cake compared to whom the American Government is borrowing from....the International Private Bankers (i.e the Federal Reserves).  Americans are as much slaves as Nepalese are, the only thing that differs is that they have higher quality of life than the Nepalese so far. American national debt is $49 trillion (The officials put it to 9 trillion...which is not true). That's $156,000 for every citizen, or $375,000 for every working American. In 2003 Nepal's national debt was $2.98 billion. Who owns that $49 trillion plus the interests and all the World's debt plus the interests? The International Banking elites... the house of Rothschilds. Poor countries and billions of people are being devastated under the burden of debt and trade policies of the IMF, World Bank and the WTO. These fronts are set by the Rothschild/Rockefeller/Warburg/Morgan interests.

"The ultimate ownership of all property is in the state; individual so-called `ownership' is only by virtue of government, i.e., law, amounting to a mere user; and use must be in accordance with law and subordinate to the necessities of the State." - Senate Document No. 43, "Contracts payable in Gold" written in 1933. Since March 9, 1933, the United States has been operating under the state of declared national emergency. Americans own NOTHING, ZIP, NADA, not even their OWN CHILDREN. Every thing belongs to United State Corporation. Sounds crazy ? Just research yourself.

We the people of the whole world are slaves to the International Banking cartels. They have become our ultimate masters. We are nothing but "Human resources" of our nation who pays our national debt through our slave labor to the Rothschilds dynasty. That's the real truth. I don't know if our so called leaders even know about these facts. Did you know about these facts?

I feel depressed too bro but don't think that expressing our ideas are in vain. Victor Hugo said "All the forces in the world are not so powerful as an idea whose time has come." Its time we wake up and spread up these words to the masses and wake the masses  up. Do your own research on Rothschilds/Rockefellers and their global agenda and spread the words.

I digressed from the main topic.......but these are important information. Trust me.

nepwanted bro

Very important facts which prove what I have been saying. We are not a Sovereign people. We have no say. We are just the puppets of foreign powers. We are infact slaves. We go on following their dictates. How could we be a sovereign nation ? Only retaining our borders don't make us a sovereign and Independent nation. As long as we survive on those foreign aids, which always come with string attached, we are basically slaves.

Times article.

"China's assertion that it doesn't interfere in other countries' internal affairs has always suited the country's leaders for two reasons: it allows China to do business in places with dubious human rights records such as Sudan and Zimbabwe; and it serves as a ready "mind your own business" rebuttal to critics of Beijing's own internal policies in places such as Tibet. But as China grows more powerful, its leaders are finding it increasingly difficult to walk this laissez-faire diplomatic line. Beijing has gone along with the deployment of United Nations peacekeepers to Sudan's troubled Darfur province, and is even providing some troops of its own. Prime Minister Wen Jiabao recently called for democracy in Burma, another country with close ties to the Chinese government.

Those two examples indicate Beijing is beginning to realize that it needs to be a good global citizen. But China's increasing willingness to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries does not mean the country isn't tending its own interests. Case in point: China's southern neighbor Nepal. Nepal has long looked to India as its natural ally in the region. But in the past few years successive governments in Kathmandu, perhaps sensing that Beijing and not New Delhi will be the real power in coming decades, have grown closer to China. Just how close the two have become can be seen in Nepal's reaction to the flare-up in Tibet. Nepal is home to a sizable Tibetan exile community. Officially, Tibetans are not allowed to organize politically in Nepal or air their anti-China grievances. A series of peaceful protests outside the Chinese embassy and at a United Nations building in Kathmandu over the past week have been broken up, sometimes brutally, by Nepalese police. Activists and journalists claim that, during the embassy protest on March 15, Chinese officials directed the police and also took photos of protestors.

Beijing has also deployed security officials inside Nepal, presumably to help detect fleeing Tibetans and keep a lid on unrest. Chinese security agents even stopped a reporter and photographer from Agence France-Presse from working inside Nepal three days ago, a small but heavy-handed example of China's reach.

There are other examples. Tourism officials and mountain-climbing companies in Nepal said last week that Beijing has asked Nepal to shut down access to southern climbing routes up Mt. Everest. This year's Olympic torch relay includes a visit to the summit of the world's highest mountain; Chinese authorities recently announced that they are closing their side of Everest — the northern slopes — because of overcrowding and environmental concerns. Most climbers believe the real reason is that China wants to prevent any demonstrations that would mar the event. Last year, climbers unfurled a banner at Everest base camp playing on the Beijing Olympic Slogan: "One World, one Dream, Free Tibet 2008," the banner read.

China reportedly has asked Nepal to close the mountain in late April and early May, when the torch would be making its ascent. This time period is the high season for climbing in the Himalayas. After originally indicating Nepal was considering China's request, Nepalese officials have since denied receiving it — although an official told a Nepalese newspaper that climbing on Everest may still be curtailed because of complications due to Nepal's upcoming elections. Ang Tsering from the Nepal Mountaineering Association says "no official word has been given by the government." But he estimated a two-week ban would cost Nepal about $1.5 million in climbing fees—peanuts compared with the tens of millions in aid and loans that Beijing gives Nepal. "It basically shows how much influence the Chinese government has here,? says Tibetan activist Tashi Dhundup, 32, who lives in Nepal. We can't even walk outside the Chinese embassy without getting clubbed about."

China has every right to negotiate and make deals with foreign governments, of course. Mountaineers may protest, but China and Nepal are also within their rights to take such a decision. But it is probably time for Beijing to stop pretending that it doesn't interfere in other countries affairs. With power comes recognizing your own influence, not denying it.

Peolpe like Anura are the one who brought Nepal to this state.

I AM Nepali Dude: Dont be stupid. Tibetans are not Nepali. But they have heart bigger than many Nepali. I have seen many country fellow who hate calling themselves Nepali. One must wonder why many Bahuns are not investing in Nepal anymore. Rather they are buying Gas Stations and other businesses in Texas and other places left and right. Where the hell they get all these money from.

Right, Tibetans are not Nepali since they do not have any Citizenship paper. Our gov't stopped issuing them even Refugee Cards. These Tibetans are essentially trapped with no future to look forward to and no jobs to feel secured.

All they are doing is participate in peaceful march. I commend highly of these Tibetans. Their unity all over the world is amazing. May be what we need to learn something from them. They proved themselves worthy citizen in Nepal by developing many socially sound businesses. Did we Nepali do it. F--k no.

For me, these Tibetans are better than many of our own country fellow who did nothing other than abused power, corrupted the system and trasnferred all these money overseas.
