Here is one I took yesterday.

Dedicated especially to X bhanja and bhanjees, current gc residents and also not forgetting the sajha members.

Due to poor lighitng and also lack of processing power of my PC, the video did not turn out well. But I am not the bothered.

Enjoy !!!

I-Nepali,

So you're trotting about in the 'Singlish' country then! You lucky 'bar-stewart! :0

Long time no see. Any plans to re-try the KK neck of the woods! So many fond memories from there.

Have a good time and come back with a tan! :-)

I am in Edinburgh at the mo, enjoying the festival. It's been a cracking few weeks.

Cheerio

Sandhurst Lahure, hi there !!! Its a pleasure to hear form you again after so long. Yap, I am in Silypore again. I have kept myself busy by going out with my family and x-collegues.

Talking about KK, well, I think once is enough, though it was a "hurried" climb- I almost ran up to the summit.

Edinvrugh is a beautiful place, I was there with my GC friends few months back. DO enjoy your time there too. Meanwhile, I have to rush out to meet ym freinds.

Regards,
i_nepali ( Rai )

B/free,
Cheers. I actually meant to say: it is the best life I could hope for, for the sort of opportunities that you have from travelling, adventure to more intimate things in life, leading men for example - something I couldn't possibly hope to achieve with an equivalent career in the civilian sphere. It's indeed a great life and one that I wouldn't want to miss one bit. Life would have moved on for the GC lot too from probably when your were there as a young man way back and when. But it certainly has for us and for a whole lot of reasons. These days, those joining are no longer the archetypal 'sojho hillboy' crop - they're educated, motivated and focussed on what matters to them and most of all, they know what's best for them in terms of career choices, unlike those of us in the early/mid nineties without the foggiest clue of what we would want to be hoping to achieve with a mil career. The 'cream' as it were, is what for most part our army ends up with and rightly so as never before has the level of demands placed upon us with the advent of modern day tech sophistication and doctrine, and the need to adapt to such changes has never been more acute for our longer term survival in the modern-day Brit armed forces and we have not been found wanting. I would put it all down to the sort of product we receive year on year - the young crop. With college diplomas/degrees (some from reputed foreign institutes) under their belt, and this, being backed up by a good command of the English language already when they join up, our career structures have seen a sea change over the years, the sumtotal of which has been the much sharpened competitive edge. There is competition and jolly tough one by any measure! Changing times surely.

Hey too much woffling. Hope the US has lived up to your expectations, mate. All the best.

***************
Inepali mate,
Endinburgh is indeed a beautiful city - one of my most fav cities. Having a jolly old time - the festival is in the full swiing, nearing completion.

Would love to go to KK once when I am in the Far East next - for old times sake re ke! :-)
Have a good one.

Carpe diem
