I wish Biden had extended TPS before leaving. Trump might have waited until it expired to end. Trump is not going to abandon DACA or try to cancel it this time. He might consider some options for long time TPS holders.

 tehi, I don’t have any hopes of TPS being extended, that’s why I am trying to reinstate back to F1 😭(hoping USCIS approves it) ….also I doubt there will be lawsuit for Nepal TPS, not sure on this, but if there is lawsuit and if that gives us some time, then hopefully my PERM will get approved within that time….shit sucks

It’s disheartening to see people rejoicing over the struggles of others. These challenges often bring immense hardship and heartbreak, such as family separation or the loss of stability. Instead of celebrating someone’s misfortune, we should extend compassion and understanding. Empathy strengthens communities, while division only weakens us all. Let’s choose kindness and humanity, supporting one another in times of need.

If DHS intends to terminate TPS, they should just announce it now and get it over with. At least I’d have some time to consider backup plans. The uncertainty and waiting are incredibly frustrating.

Trump adminle pahilae terminate gareko ho Nepal TPS but it was Biden admin who reinstated Nepal TPS so u can get an idea through this and even there is already talk to terminate all TPS but with DACA they might work together with Dem to keep it.

They should allow sufficient time for an orderly transition. Last time, they provided 12 months, and hopefully, they will do the same again—possibly even longer if lawsuits are involved. It might result in a couple of years. As others have suggested, it would be wise to explore other status options in the meantime.

@bhamnepali the 12 months transition was because of the lawsuit, so if lawsuit happens again then yeah we might get that, not sure if there will be lawsuit from Nepal though....looking at the previously TPS terminated countries, they got 6 months transition period
