Wagle gets what he deserves. After all, there should be no distinction between burglary and corruption. Only that the former affects only an individual, where as the latter is on a larger scale.

As far as I know, Govinda Joshi is more corrupt and probably has a fat bank balance than Wagle. Guys help me out here in listing the most corrupt ones that should be brought to justice. Let's focus the time after democracy as we do not even have any clues on what went on during Panchayat system.

In the aftermath of Wagle verdict



- The conviction of Chiranjivi Wagle by the Special Court was hailed by all. The ordinary law-abiding Nepali citizens, who were losing trust, hope and expectation from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) and the Special Court, have finally something to cheer about.
Corruption should be discouraged and people like Wagle should be made untouchables in our society so that others learn and see the ultimate fate of the corrupt. Like everyone, I was also pleased to read the news of the conviction in all the dailies but was again shocked to see Wagle delivering a speech at the Reporterýs Club. I do not understand what the Reporterýs club was trying to achieve by highlighting Wagle in the media.

Wagle was seated along with the former Attorney General of Nepal. Wagle had almost two years to plead his innocence at the CIAA and at the Special Court. Why did Reporters Club invite him and send a wrong message to the people that the verdict of the Special Court was doubtful?

Responsibility of the media should be to investigate and publish the activities of the corrupt so that the governmental bodies concerned can take necessary action and punish the culprit. I will not be surprised if one of these days Charles Shobhraj is invited to the Reportersý Club and asked to lecture on "how to be an international criminal." Please do refrain from causing confusions in the minds of the common people.

I don't know whats your problem with (kommunist )pyuthane!!!!?? I am not clear with your thread whether u've got a problem with (Kommunist) Pyuthane...or Rajendra Bista(Jaisi Bahun). Well i do agree some hardcore Communist are from Phythan... Like, Bam Dev Gautam (UML), Mohan Bikram Singh (Masaal), Navaraj Subedi (Maasal), Mohan Baidya aka kiran (Maoist) so on so forth, but this doesnot mean all the "pyuthani" are Communist. I think we should not generalize the whole mass as Communist. Although, Phyuthan do elect Communist in the general election. RPP and KONGRESS are either in the second or third on the list but Masaal are the popular and now since the Maoist have evolved, their influence has taken the city all round.

Mukti of KOGRESS is a good leader, atleast not corrupt, Khemraj (Assistant Mahamantri of RPP and Giri (central committee member of RPP) are also well know in Phythan as Clean sheat unlike Joshi and Wagle.

Now ppl calling all the pyuthane as communist does bother me also, thats really cheap, and also i understand the freedom of speech, but that really doesnot mean EVERYBODY has right to generalize ppl. It really hurts the heart of "pyuthane" to be blamed as "COMMUNIST" or even sometimes labeled as born "Maoist".

Does this apply that all the Damauli baasees are "GHUSIA" cuz Joshi is. But i dont think so, damauli is a nice place, PLACE of BYAS, but i would not be generalizing the whole damauli baasees. so goes with WAGLE brothers..............

Lets argue but not take everything to a personal level..
