I just do not understand why one idiot represents entire Nepalese people to be thief? Where does this paranoia come from? I mean come on people, this has nothing to do with Nepalese or a person being born in Nepal or Nepal is a birthplace of Buddha or whatever.

There are many stories where people from all cultures, religion, country and all races are involved in million dollar scams, fraud & stealing going on all over the world.  And we hear that all the time in the news. I know he should be brought back to law and punished for what he did if proven guilty.

But stop making baseless statements like Nepalese are opportunists and all that crap. I simply dont' buy that concept. I have yet to see a monk who is selfless in America so forget about average Joe. There are good honest people in each country, each ethnicity, each religion. These kind of incidents are isolated incidents and are not part of Nepalese norms (also doubt it is of any other culture's norms) as I do not see these to be organized crime going over time.

Isolated Incident?

No i dont live in TX but have visited TX and have heard lot about stealing money smoking  pot and bla bla bla.

Sometimes easy money can kill you... Mr. Willis could have similar fate.... if he had got that money earlier.. and then make a trip to Vegas, slept with a chic then get infected with AIDS.. who knows? May be Punkaj might have done a favor to Mr. Willis...

So, it's hard to say if Punkaj did good or bad.. we cannot determine that now.. future will tell.

Let me put one good news here. If convicted he will face 20 years in  prison and his bond is set for $10 million. There were lot of people showing support for late Ashok, the Guy who sold viagra but what about this asshole.
