He has no staff nor tuft nor sacred thread. He faces heat and cold, pleasure and pain, Honor and dishonor with equal calm. He is not affected by calumny, Pride, jealousy, status, joy or sorrow, Greed, anger, or infatuation, Excitement, egoism, or other goads; For [the illuminated man] knows he is neither body nor mind. -Paramahamsa Upanishad

Because of your faith, I shall tell you the most profound of secrets: obtaining both jnana and vijnana, you will be free from all evil. This royal knowledge, this royal secret, is the greatest purifier. Righteous and imperishable, it is a joy to practice and can be directly experienced. -Bhagavad Gita 9:1-2

Thanks Rajuji, * * * * * * * * But a man without desires is a lion. When the senses see him, It is they who take flight! They run away like elephants, As quietly as they can. As if they cannot escape, They serve him like slaves. -Ashtavakra Gita 18:46

Maybe I am dumb but this does not help me at all. If you can help me out then please do so. >>>ractice right conduct, learning and teaching; Be truthful always, learning and teaching; I wish i knew what "right conduct" was and what "being truthful" was. What you wrote are certainly great words but, like I said, I have no idea how I can implement this in my life if I choose to.

No one who does good work will ever come to a bad end, either here or in the world to come. When such people die, they go to other realms where the righteous live. They dwell there for countless years and then are reborn into a home which is pure and prosperous. -Bhagavad Gita 6:40-42
