Two friends were walking
through the desert. During some
point of the journey they had an argument, and
one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt,
but without saying anything, wrote in the sand:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.

They kept on walking until they found an oasis,
where they decided to take a bath. The one who
had been slapped got stuck in the mire and
started drowning, but the friend saved him.
After he recovered from the near
drowning, he wrote on a stone:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.

The friend who had slapped and
saved his best friend asked him,
"After I hurt you, ! you wrote in the
sand and now !, you write on a stone,
why?" The other friend replied "When someone
hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds
of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone
does something good for us, we must engrave
it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."

LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND
AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.

They say , it takes a minute to find a special person,
an hour to appreciate them,
a day to love them,
but then an entire life to forget them.

Do not value the THINGS you have in your life..
But value WHO you have in your life !!!

Friend, everythig as posted above seems true but have you ever realised what happens on real life? This is all about human nature. If a person hurted you once and you wrote that on sand.......it may go within few seconds but that particular person keeps on hurting you. How many time do you write it on sand? The day comes and you have to write it on stone......for forever.

This is my experience and not necessary you agree with it.

if the person hurts you once then it's that person's fault but if the person hurts you more than once or twice then it's your fault for not doing anything

the pain does not have to create long-term suffering. If
we embrace the pain and feel our grief, a remarkable thing happens the
pain gradually recedes. This is what is meant by the saying, "The only
way out of the pain is to embrace the pain." It is when we attempt to
avoid the pain that suffering arises.

so write it in sand....and let it fade away

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he/she discovers that someone else believes in him/her and is willing to trust him/her with friendship.

In this regard, i have my one small sayari which i wrote probably when i was at class 9

"Badal ko sansar badliyee pani aakash ko sansar ta autai huncha
Satthi haru jati dherai bhayeepani hridayasparshi ta autai huncha "

Thank U!
