Did anyone watch the whole fiasco last night? Sorry, that fans and people watching ahve to be treated like that.
I think the players should be suspended without pay:

Wallace:10 games ( Keep the showving away from the game, if someone shoves SUSPEND HIM for games, get the msg through)

Artest: 12 games (You cant hit Wallace so you and attack a rowdy fan, the fan was stupid to spill beer at you, you are even wrose for jumping on him, wait for him to sue you for cool million)

Jackson: 8 games ( If you follow a mad man, you are mad as well...You let the mad dog liek Artest go..let him suffer why you care..and now deal with it)

O'Neal: 8 games ( you skinny stick. Fight someone your size...your girly punch will tarnish your MVP type season...I thought this would be a year..but NAH you ignorant unedcuated prick isnt smart at all)

Both of the teams should be fined heavily for this misconduct..let them suffer!!! I mean these players are so hungry for freaking violence, its not even funny. Making millions on the court hasnt changed these guys..after all they know they arent gonna get SHOT...here ..

I hope NBA takes serious action.

BTW, that Young Buck( rapper) stabbed someone during VIBE awards. I hope authorities make him pay dearly.

O' Neal and Jackson .. only 8 games??? they should be suspended more than that...

Just my two cents but also the fact that fans have to have respect for the game as well as the players. Players have to deal with so much pressure within the game and now this crap, nah..They are not some shit that you can disregard and start throwing junk at them. I'm neither a Pacers fans nor Pistons.. If you have sportsmen spirit have respect for the game and the players...

Pacers players should get suspended for atleast 10 games...Artest did the wrong thing goin to the stand but i think i would have done the same thing if somebody throw a beer at me while i m at the court.....

I dont think you are reading my post right.I have mentioned that WALLACE was also one of the CULPRIT in the whole incident.Yes, he should be suspended for some games but also blame it on Artest and company for esclating things.Just a reminder that Artest is ONE OF THE HOTTEST HEADS In NBA..This is not the first incident that he has been involved in. Have you ever heard anything violent abt WALLACE before? He is a gentle giant but yes he did make a mistake by shoving Artest!!

Verdict: Artest dint escalate but he made some stupid mistakes..so did Wallace, Oneal and Jackson..fine them and send them to anger management class.

* An unidentified fan near midcourt hits Artest in the face with a cup filled with ice and a beverage.

* Artest storms into the stands and attacks a fan that he thinks hurled the cup at him.

* Indiana's Stephen Jackson joins his teammate in the seats and starts throwing punches.

* David Harrison, Eddie Gill and Fred Jones of the Pacers, Detroit's Rasheed Wallace and former Piston Rick Mahorn try to break up the fight between Pacers and fans, who land their share of punches.

* Back on the court near Indiana's bench, Artest punches a fan wearing a Pistons jersey who walks toward him. After another fan tries to tackle Artest, Jermaine O'Neal runs toward the fan and lands a vicious right hand to his face.

* Pacers players and coaches leave the floor and are showered with beer, popcorn and assorted debris, including a folding chair.

* Indiana's Jamaal Tinsley tries to go back on the court, holding a metal dust pan over his head, but is turned back to the locker room.

that was very pathetic for Artest to attack a fan, being a sportsman he should know that,
" fan's are FAN's" , dammit,.. that guy should be suspened and fined HEAVILY.

On Wallace's case, this isnt something of unusal case, player vs player, and one can understand the pain of foul. In Artest case, even if he was thrown beer at, he should have understood the whole game of basketball is "bussiness", and fan's are the one who view the game, if you attack a fan, who will come to cheer the game?

by the way, isnt it true Artest has a cd coming out?? haha so why the fk wud he care, he just wants popularity and publicity :P :P :P

Even though I am a Pistons fan I was really ashamed by their crowds behavior.

I know all the player deserves to be punished. Even though they were all "Professionals", they didn't act like one...

But ,
I don't think artest deserved to be suspended for 72 games- rest of the season... that was really harsh. I know he was out of his mind but he had reasons to be so.... (I mean why not suspend him for 20-25 games or make him pay a huge fine...)
And,
I think pistons fans acted like a barbarians, after all they (pacers players) are professionals and they deserve some respect. So what they were playing against Piston it doesn't mean that fans have to insult players by throwing beverages and pop corns....
Ofcourse he will get mad I know he is a professional but first he is a human being, and anyone in his place would have got mad.

And Wallace who started all this was suspended only for 6 games didn't sound fair at all, atleast not to me.

Well,
I mean if Ben Wallace was suspended for 6 games then Artest should have been suspended for 26 games at most.
Now that sounds fair enough!!
